2. Description of Service

Alloquy provides a platform for professionals to create an interactive public portfolio. A core feature is an AI-powered assistant ("AI Assistant") that is trained on the content you provide to answer questions from visitors, such as recruiters. The Service allows you to connect third-party accounts (e.g., Google Drive) to use your documents as a knowledge source for the AI Assistant.

3. User Accounts

To use most features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for any activities or actions under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. User Content and Conduct

You are solely responsible for all information, data, text, images, or other materials ("User Content") that you upload, post, or link to the Service. This includes your profile information and the documents you connect via integrations.

• Ownership: You retain all ownership rights to your User Content. We do not claim any ownership over your documents or the information you provide.
• License to Us: By providing User Content to the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, and display the User Content in connection with providing the Service. This license is necessary for us to, for example, process your documents to train your AI Assistant. This license ends when you delete your User Content or your account.
• Responsibility: You represent and warrant that you have the necessary rights to grant us this license for any User Content you submit. You agree not to provide any content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes on any third-party's rights.
• Document Storage: As detailed in our Privacy Policy, we do not store the original content of your documents. We access them on a read-only basis to generate vector embeddings for the AI Assistant.

5. Use of AI Assistant

The AI Assistant is a generative tool. While it is designed to provide accurate answers based on your provided documents, it may occasionally produce incorrect or misleading information. You are responsible for reviewing and ensuring the accuracy of the information presented on your public profile and by your AI Assistant. We are not liable for any inaccuracies generated by the AI Assistant.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Alloquy makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or free from errors.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Alloquy or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on Alloquy's website, even if Alloquy or an authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.

8. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, USA, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that State or location.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date of these Terms. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
